When painting my Zen Studies I keep in mind the seven characteristics of Zen Aesthetics written down in the book ‘Zen and the Fine Arts’ by Shin’ichi Hisamatsu.

This artwork reflects on the enormous fires that afflict huge parts of Australia and the United States due to our changing climate. It is a scary reality that endangers and kills nature (animals, trees, plants) and humans as well.

The canvas will be shipped in a tube. The canvas can be stretched on wood or aluminum, framed behind glass or just be hung with hooks on the wall. Signed on the front.
